The best third-party-tested krill oil, by IKOS lot results

Last reviewed 2026-10-13. Every certification record and lot result below was read from its source on that date, and each links it. No price is shown.

2 krill oils sold as an exact Amazon listing have a public IKOS lot report from Nutrasource: Sports Research Antarctic Krill Oil 500 mg (Superba2), 120 mini-softgels and Viva Naturals Antarctic Krill Oil 1,250 mg, 6 bottles of 60 Caplique capsules. On the newest report for each, every line (EPA, DHA, phospholipids, peroxide, PCBs, dioxins and four heavy metals) is marked compliant with the IKOS limit. MegaRed, Kori and Bronson are not in the IKOS directory (checked Oct 13, 2026).

No price is shown: prices change, and the price at the store is the one to check. “Below” means the lab's detection limit: the metal was not found above that level. EPA and DHA are the lab's batch results for the serving on the report, not the label figure.

Other IKOS entries from these two brands

Nutrasource also lists these. They are not linked here because no Amazon listing was matched to them in this check:

Not in the IKOS directory

On Oct 13, 2026 the IKOS filter of the Nutrasource directory showed 27 krill products, and the directory's 429 brands included no brand named MegaRed, Kori, Bronson or Schiff. The NSF Certified for Sport list (2,570 listings) had no product with “krill” in its name. That is a statement about those two lists, not a finding that a product is untested: is MegaRed krill oil third-party tested?

This page restates published certification records and lot reports with attribution. It makes no health, benefit or treatment claim, gives no dosing advice, and says nothing about whether any product is safe or right for you. Krill is a crustacean: check the full ingredient list against your own needs.
